I purchased these shorts for my husband after his hip replacement . He kept saying no no because they were different lol. BUT after wearing them and having the ease of access to the drain tube , the ability to dress himself (as usual )without causing himself any more pain.The nurses and doctors at check-up appts were so thrilled with the ease of checking sutures and tube access and removal . They are amazing !! The style is a typical lounge type loose short with Velcro sides on each outer leg. Elastic waist. He said they are comfortable not too heavy and the velcro does not make them uncomfortable to lay around in or walk or do PT in . Stylish enough for the extreme functionality . Size runs true as stated – colors available – wont regret it
