I love these shirts, size extra large. I consider them to be near perfect for the purpose I bought them for. In Phoenix and pretty hot summers and these shirts are perfect for keeping the SUN off. They are cool to wear on the 100° plus hot sunny days and seem to not get wet from perspiration. Dry very quickly. I’d give them a 10 overall for summer wear. Its winter here now and I wear a white cotton T-shirt under them. There is room for that. Temperature’s in the middle 30’s up to the middle 70’s right now, I get along to and from work without any coat or jacket, not getting too cool or uncomfortable on the colder days. Wash them in cold water, minimum detergent, and I believe they will last a long time. I do not use a dryer and hang on a hanger and these shirts are dry in about 5 minutes. Sonoran desert dry climate. The fit. Perfect! I’m 5’10” and weigh 220. The cuff of the sleeves is not banded like regular long sleeve T-shirts. Don’t like banded sleeves. Length of the sleeves is close to a 33-34 or a bit longer sleeve on a good dress shirt. The neck is very nice in the fit that it is a bit smaller (not snug) and thus stays on the neck without a big stretched out hole up there. The elasticity and comfort is fantastic. You will forget you are wearing a shirt at all. These are my favorite shirts for long sleeve wear. That being said, I have 14 of them. I will be buying more to make sure I have them for the future. Colors are quite vibrant. The orange and safety green are killer. Get compliments on them all the time. Black is deep black and the red is my favorite. Wife loves the blue and pink. No signs of any fading yet. The wife has these shirts in the small size and she loves them as well. You will not be disappointed in any way. At this price point for a 2 pack, Your getting one for free. Don’t hesitate. Haynes has a winner in this product. Go Get Em!

Kept me cool, burn free, and scratch free when wearing them for 5 work days in supremely hot weather.Bought these for use during a very hot, very sunny week of landscaping job. I was skeptical and even considered returning them when they first arrived. But then decided to go for it, not like I had other options in my closet. If they worked, great. If they didn’t then I was out some bills. While I planned to be slathered in sunscreen, I wanted to have an added level of protection through clothing. I purchased the black, as that is considered the color to wear when trying to reduce UV exposure (though it will not reduce the heat- there you will want light/white).I purchased the 3x. I am a chubby woman and these are mens shirts, so I didn’t expect a great fit. Material is stretchy and accommodating. Overall, I just wanted something that fit my body, loosely. In this case, I’d rather it be too big than too small. For the women who may be checking these out: I am 5’10, normally an 18/20 (top and bottom) and the 3x is a loose but not huge fit. Length hits my hips, and I have a long torso.These shirts are not something I planned to wear except for working outside or maybe if I know I have to be out in the sun for long periods of time (I wear wide brim hats, wear sun screen, apply repeatedly, and try not to be in sun for various reasons- so all this is important to me, and I think adds weight to my review).100% polyester, super light weight. I have no idea what makes them “SPF 50”. A search tells me that polyester has natural SPF rating of 30, and is considered not a “breathable” fabric. I dont know.. I found these rather light and breathable. I too their word that these have SPF rating of 50. Might be the weave, who knows. Maybe it helped that I chose black and chose a loose fit. Wish there was more info as to WHY/HOW. I down rate based on lack of info.While I sweated, the material seemed to pick up moisture and dry quickly. I never felt “hot” despite wearing long sleeves. Was extra amazing feeling when I could catch a breeze. I also wanted the long sleeves to help keep my arms from being all scratched up as I put down mulch and worked my way through bushes and such. Also keep bugs off me. Sleeves were quite long on my 5’10” frame, but that didn’t bother me at all.Overall these shirts worked as intended.

I’ve been searching for the perfect long sleeve tee for my morning runs and I’m so glad I stumbled upon the Hanes Sport Performance Long Sleeve T-Shirt. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it’s been a total game changer. The material is super breathable and moisture-wicking, which is a must for me since I tend to sweat a lot. It’s also really comfortable and doesn’t chafe or rub in any weird spots.I’ve worn it on some pretty chilly mornings and it’s kept me warm without feeling too bulky. The fit is great too – I’m a bit of a larger guy and the XL fits me perfectly. I’ve washed it a bunch of times and it still looks brand new.I’ve tried a few other long sleeve tees from different brands, but this one is definitely my favorite. It’s affordable, comfortable, and performs well. I’ve already ordered a few more in different colors. If you’re in the market for a good long sleeve tee, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a shot.
